The South Boys and Girls sprints/field events group performed at the Holiday Qualifier meet
on Dec.29. Senior, Madeline Frieze ran the 300 meter dash in 45.56, and came in 8th place out of 134
in that event. A Junior, Taylor Ollivierre ran 47.47 in the same event as she was testing the waters,
with her return from a foot fracture in her previous track season. Also Juniors, Kathleen Garrity and
Mary Testa competed in the 55M hurdles 11.17 and 55M dash 8.26 respectively. From the Boys,
Brooks Remy ran an aggressive race in the 300. He placed 3rd with a time of 38.01.
Senior, Dan Connolly ran a personal best in the 55M High Hurdles in 8.49. Dan was also the 3rd leg
in the 4x400 relay team with his fellow teammates Brooks Remy, Andrew O'Hagan, Jung Park.
The 4x400 relay took a 3rd place finish.
