South's bringing a smaller squad than normal because of the LS-NS dual matchup on Monday. Newton North is bringing a very strong squad. I have both the NS and NN entries below. Here are my observations on the seeds and teams.
LS is only entered in the high jump relay - presumably because they're saving up for the dual meet on Monday with NS.
Girls
Andover, as usual, is bringing a very strong squad. They have the top seeds on a lot of relays. In the girls 4x50m shuttle, NN and Andover are the top seeds, and NN has a good shot at knocking off Andover. The same is true of 4x50m shuttle hurdle. Andover has the top seed in the girls 4x200.
The sprint medley relay (800-200-200-400) is totally loaded and should be a great one to watch. South and Andover have the top seed in 4:12, with North seeded 3rd in 4:14, Boston Latin is bringing a very strong squad, along with Acton-Boxboro. The SMR is a tough one to seed because it's rarely competed and none of the legs are competed as part of the indoor duals, so the seeding is a huge guessing game for the coaches. Anything could happen. Weymouth also has a strong squad - If you want to see a competitive relay - this is the one to watch.
Weymouth loaded up their girls DMR and has probably the strongest squad there by far. Like the SMR, the DMR is tough to seed, because of the distances and the 1200 leg (1200-400-800-1600)
