a note from coach Norton

The meet Wednesday will be at Newton South HS, NOT Cold Springs Park.

a note from boys coach Norton:

The NS Boys are at it again! Their next XC meet will be on the Newton South campus on Wednesday Oct. 10 against Waltham. Same order as before JV will start at 4:15pm followed by the Varsity at near 5:10pm.
Unfortunately, we couldn't have this meet at the Cold Springs Park due to a schedule conflict, but these Boys are ready to race wherever and whenever!
If you've been to the previous home meet you know how easy it is to view the Boys in flight as they whip past the stands, the baseball and soccer fields!
Yes, they did have their chance this season to race on true XC courses through the woods, but this is a second chance to improve their race times and learn by testing different tactics that will prepare them for the big DCL Championship on Friday Oct. 26 at Lincoln-Sudbury.

Speaking of chances and opportunities, at this meet, you will see a few new prospects in the varsity lineup. This XC program is built around progress towards leadership. When opportunity arise to make a difference the individual must be ready to take on the responsibility for themselves and for the team.

Varsity:
Michael Costello, Ben Eisenberg, Nicholas Reed, Parker Olson, Pat Mahoney, Tal Golan, Dylan Shuler, Ben Weingart, Relja Nedeljkovic, Aaron Edelstein
