MSTCA State pole vault relays held at Newton South today

The MSTCA (Mass. State Track Coaches Assoc.) state division relays are this weekend but the div 1 pole vault event was held at Newton South today. Six teams attended: Billerica, Chelmsford, Andover, Westford,  Newton South and Acton Boxboro. Because of the weather the event was moved indoors.

 "Our girls all hit their PR or set a new PR.  We finished with the same empirical measure as AB in a tie for 1st at 25'6".  But the meet management scores the event in metric so we finished 2nd by hair.  Still a great effort and a great outcome and all three girls cleared the state qualifying standard of 8'0"."
