The 1st race (JV boys and girls) was held in the rain. The NSHS boys had a pack of about 9 boys who got way ahead but veered off the course cutting off about 1/2 mile - and got disqualified. Wayland took the next few places. I think the girls took the 1st few places. It was hard to tell in the rain with the runners amongst the boys.
