It was a beautiful day at the Newton South fields for the dual meet with AB. The NS parents organized by Holly Schneider set up a great food table for both teams. It was a new course unlikely to be run again. A little less than 3 miles.
The boys varsity held of a strong AB trio of Dan Grant, Teddy Farley and Jack Benjamin to win 25-34.
1. Grant AB, 2. Wortham NS, 3. Fen NS, 4. Farley AB, 5. Beck NS, 6. Benjamin AB, 7. Finch NS, 8. Shiu NS, 9. Cha NS, 10. Long NS, 11. Bargar NS, 12. Schneider NS, 12. George AB, 13. Weaver NS, then the rest of AB.
The girls varsity was just too much for AB pulling off their 3rd sweep; 15-50. That means they took the 1st 7 places.
The JV boys looked strong again with Kyle Olson holding off a furious kick from Tal. The JV girls also had good performances.

Congrats on the win today, and the strong start to the season for both teams. When did you guys get new uniforms? They look sharp, and the blog is great. Keep up the good work.
