Maddy Outman won the 100 meter hurdles and 400 meter dash to finish with three wins over the weekend to earn the Most Outstanding Track Athlete and Most Outstanding Overall Athlete of the Meet at the PSAC championships which wrapped up Saturday at West Chester.
Outman broke the PSAC meet record in both the 100 hurdles and the 400 for the second straight day. Her time of 13.70 in the hurdles also broke the school and PSAC all-time record and was an NCAA automatic qualifying mark. She also set a new school record and earned an automatic qualifying time in the 400, crossing in 54.79.
Including a win in the heptathlon and second place finish in the long jump Friday, Outman accounted for 38 of IUP's 68 points in the meet and has seven PSAC titles over the past two years, including five outdoor and two indoor.
