At today's NS, CC, WA meet Andrew Wortham (15:54) missed the Westford course record by 2 seconds held by Marc Boutin. Kelsey Karys beat Lindsey Donaldson's course record by 3 seconds. (17:53). The course is supposedly 3.05 miles.
NS won against CC and WA in both varsity races.
It looked like the CC girls JV team could fill more than one school bus!
The JV boys race must have had 60 runners, maybe more. The leaders in the JV race passed the 400 meter mark in 68 seconds.

Ben wanted me to add that the 1st 6 NS varsity boys were 32 seconds apart taking the 1st 6 places in the meet. Mark Boutin from Westford was expected to be near the front but had a bad race.
In the girls varsity NS took the 1st 3 places.
We also had 1st place for both JV races. John, Wil or Ben- can you write a story? If someone else would like to write a story about any race, Email it to me - I'll post it. It'd be great to get a story on the JV races.
